Hermione Granger had thought that joining the St Mungo's internship program would be all about saving people and making a difference and it was. It was just also about being friendly with co-workers and dealing with the insanity that was the world of magical injuries. A feat that on occasion feels monumental to a person who has socialised with the same finite group of people for seven years.
So when Ginny dares her to choose one person to give unlimited access to kiss her for twenty four hours it makes sense that she panicked and chose the one person in the room who she thought would never take her up on that proposal.
Little did she know that Draco Malfoy has two weaknesses: Kissing and control.

Really?” Rolling her eyes at how stupid whatever magic the book had upon it was, she put it away in her school things and began sorting through ways of blocking magic. The new project had her eager and before long, she’d forgotten her boredom. Whatever the book was, it wasn’t common and it could influence the minds of those nearby.
‘I’ll get to the bottom of you.’ Hermione thought giving the book a grin.

Tom didn’t know what this future world held in store for him. There were far too many unknowns and the girl herself, while not a threat directly, could certainly hand him over to someone who was. Excitement flowed through the soul fragment at the idea of a new high stakes game. The player was a child, but a genius, perhaps even one on his level.
‘This is either going to be my greatest triumph or most humiliating defeat.’ Tom thought, alone but not forgotten as the brilliant mind of his opponent whirled under her curly brown hair.
