    Jazz narrowed his eyes at the mech. Something about him was almost familiar. He stared hard at him, wracking his processor. His frame was way too fancy to be a common mech, maybe he was on Council? But he kept tabs on all the Councilors and didn’t recognize him. Maybe a Tower mech, or a- Wait. His optics widened with shock and he took a startled step back as realization hit him like blaster fire.

    For Sideswipe, finding out he has a brother was one thing. Finding out said brother is his split-spark twin was another. Finding out that said split-spark twin was forged before the War of the Threefold Spark while Sideswipe wasn’t due to stigmas against split-sparks, which left Sideswipe’s spark locked away for megacycles while Sunstreaker fought in a war…? Yeah, Sideswipe has some feelings about that and would like to share them with someone, thanks. Unfortunately, Sunstreaker doesn’t seem interested in getting to know his younger twin brother.

    Or: Sideswipe meets Sunstreaker, the twin he never knew he had but who he should have been with their whole lives. It goes about as well as he expected and worse than he’d secretly hoped.

    Dwalin is sent back in time after an unfortunately long life. When he saves Prince Frerin's life, Dwalin has no idea where King Thrain disappears nor who will shelter him. When the Company arrives at Bag End, their welcome will be far warmer than they could have anticipated.

    A happier Company, a wiser hobbit, and an extremely confused Dwalin who just wants everyone to survive this in one piece. Time Travelling!

    There are several things that the dwarves don't know about the hobbit that is traveling with them. Things that Bilbo is glad to let them find out for themselves along the way.

    The first is that he's prepared for anything. His mother used to quiz him about what he'd do in any situation - from relatives to trolls - and Bilbo never disappointed her with his answers. Riding a pony all day gives him plenty of time to plan for everything.

    The second is that he can throw a stone or any other small object hard enough to embed it several inches into a tree trunk. His accuracy is uncanny even by Shire standards. He's quite proud of it.

    The third is that he doesn't actually say so many proverbs when at home but it seems to annoy the dwarves so he spends time thinking up all the ones he's heard before.

    And last, hobbits scold like it is no one's business. The Dwarves he's traveling with really have no idea what will happen if they truly piss him off.
