    Charlie's face slowly morphed into a deadpan expression, he had immediately given up on the usual customer service facade. Honestly, Mariana expected a reaction of offense, but maybe this was a remark that he had heard often. That wouldn't be surprising. "And, what, you came back just to complain?"
    "No, I have decided to give you the benefit of the doubt, and try again."
    "I'm honored," though Charlie sounded anything but that. ]
