Summary
The long and winding tale of how Tess Moineau ended up in her warlock pact, as told by her Imp. On the surface she seems like the crafty daughter of a powerful wizard, but appearances can be deceiving. Her father's past led to her being in this situation, but Tess might be able to take control of her fate.
This is my D&D character from a homebrew campaign, so if the lore's not the best, like, I tried. It's just for fun! It started out as a joke and then I went and made it serious.

Sometimes, though, it all just gets too much. That's why he's walking through the gates of Diamond City with a knitted hat pulled down over his ears and his overly-distinctive coat stuffed into a bag. Just an anonymous drifter, in town for a few hours.

“You lost?”
That voice. That same low, languid, gravelly husk that you had heard the previous night, now with an edge of a challenge to it breaks into your thoughts and demands your undivided attention.
You whirl around again, look back in the direction of where you have just been walking and see him – tall, imposing and as broad as ever. Ruggedly Handsome is exiting the front yard of one of the houses, looking down at the cuffs of his coat and adjusting them, as if he has just put the garment on. The gesture itself is casual but you can see the coiled tension in his shoulders. If he doesn't like your answer, you can expect to be challenged on who you are and why you're here.
“Not lost. Just new,” you reply after gathering your composure.

Summary
After leaving the Fireflies, you ended up in the settlement of Jackson with Tommy, unwilling to part with the only friend you had left. You were even able to carve somewhat of a life out for yourself after a few years.
Until Tommy's older brother shows up. You think Joel Miller is gruff and rude, and you're pretty sure he doesn't have a fond opinion of you either. That doesn't stop the attraction you feel for each other, but he's gone in a day. You settle back into a routine, thinking you'll never see him again.
Then Joel returns a few months later, and screws up everything about the comfortable life you had established in Jackson.

“She ain’t weird just ‘cause she don’t talk, Ellie,” Joel sighs wearily as he sits up on the couch he had been sprawled across.
“Okay, she’s weird ‘cause she keeps to herself, then.” Ellie aims a raised eyebrow back at him. “Sound familiar?”
