Summary
After his wife passed away a year ago, Owen is left struggling to care for his two kids. Deciding to move to New Orleans to start anew, he finds an old home that hasn’t been inhabited since the early 1900s. The large house is in dire need of refurbishing, but that doesn’t deter the group. It appears to be the perfect place for the family of three, but as the saying goes, looks can be deceiving.
So when things start mysteriously disappearing, and odd noises begin echoing throughout the house long in the night. How will Owen respond? Especially when his youngest child Elliott starts talking to someone in his room, except no one is there. Or when his daughter begins showing up in the middle of the night, just staring hauntingly at him and appearing in random parts of the house in dangerous situations with no recollection in the morning, what is a father to do?
All these problems trace back to when Owen found that broken phonograph, though maybe it isn’t as damaged as he thought, with it producing static and oddly...
“Dad, the Phonograph is leaking again!”
Perhaps he should've been concerned about the black substance leaking out of that piece of technology the first time he saw it.

Summary
Mizette Thorncreek, a maid who worked at the now deceased MyrtleGrove Estate. Though, this isn't the first time one of her employers mysteriously dropped dead, and certainly not the second time either. A maid known to many as a curse and only employed by people stupid enough to think they can tame the storm; she barely stays at one manor very long before death comes wrapping at their door.
The death of Lady MyrtleGrove makes many weep but only for a short time, for it was her stubbornness which got her killed. Her death will pass like the many others which stain the poor wolf hybrid's hands, except it doesn't. One of the Queen's most favorable detectives is sent by the lady herself.
The noble and his butler are an unmatchable duo as they work together to figure out what has the Queen so shaken by this particular death. As things start to unveil, the pair find that there's more to this case than the eye could ever see.
