Summary
Wilhelm doesn’t respond for several long, torturous seconds, his brows furrowed and lips agape in a cartoonish expression of confusion, before he finally speaks up again. “Wait, so— you want me to be your boyfriend?”
“No, I want you to pretend to be my boyfriend.”
Wilhelm rolls his eyes at the distinction, pausing to chew on the inside of his cheek, his face twisted up in thought, “For how long?”
“Long enough for both Marcus and your parents to think it’s serious. A few months at least.”
Wilhelm rests his temple against the bottoms of his palms, taking a deep breath before pulling himself back up and mumbling, “Okay,” then more confidently, “I’m in.”
