By the time Jackie sashays out the door of Van’s apartment just shy of three in the morning, Natalie has her business email and a loose job offer scrawled on a paper towel, still damp from the wine it was ripped to mop up.
Van nudges Nat’s shoulder, throwing out the last of the sopping wet paper towels–the remainders of the sadly spilled wine.
“I have a spare bedroom, you know.”
Natalie balls up the paper towel in her fist. “Shut up.”

She clicks on the first clip, needing to get Lottie off of her mind. Instead, she’s greeted by Lottie sitting on the stool, introducing the video.
Nat clicks away from the video and drops her head down onto her desk.
