You’ve always passed through the same route every time you return from your school. It was always the same road to your apartment, the same shops bustling with crowds and enticing products, the same passersby either rushing through the crowd or sitting idly on the sidelines, the same script you’ve rehearsed over, and over again. Yet, no matter how boring or repetitive everything might seem, you find comfort in the ever-changing setting.
So what made it different this time around?
Why had you lingered on this part of the alleyway when you had long been passing through it like it's your normal Wednesday afternoon? It wasn’t the dirtiest alleys overflowing with trash, so it wasn’t like you could notice the change of appearance.
Well, you thought you wouldn’t. Thus came this conspicuous, obviously out-of-place box that stands out above the rest because this is the first time you saw it. And, well, because it moved. Boxes don’t move by themselves, so something is definitely inside, right?
And you happened to be curious.
