“Would you be surprised if I said yes?” Keith answered with a smile.
Lance’s smile faltered. “What- Seriously?” he asked.
“Well… Yeah, I guess” Keith said sitting on the ground next to the brunet. “Also, I really like coming here. It’s peaceful.” he finished looking at the sunset.

But the next morning, he was woken up by the three boys piling onto his bed, jumping and singing Happy Birthday. And Sirius, carrying a large bag, emptied it onto his bed and the rest of them watched in shock and awe as chocolate frogs spilled everywhere, falling onto the floor.
James started laughing, dragging Peter along and Sirius was beaming, proud.
Remus tried his best but the stupid smile still made its way onto his face. “You idiot, I was kidding!” he said but he couldn’t sound mad even if he tried.
Sirius just shrugged but his eyes were bright when he said, “Happy birthday, Remus!”

or, 6 times Sirius managed to fulfil Remus' birthday wishes (sort of) and the 1 time he couldn't deliver - but it was alright, because it all worked out in the end.

“Mate, what the fuck?”, Sirius scowled.
“Not my fault, you didn't answer me.” James threw his hands up in defence, which had previously tossed his half-eaten pastry at Sirius's head. “If you stopped drooling over lover boy for a second and paid attention to me, your best friend, by the way, it'd be much appreciated.”
“I wasn't drooling, and I told you to stop calling him that. What if he heard you?”or
Sirius could not decide whether he preferred watching Remus read or listening to him talk about his current fictional obsession. However, he made sure to always finish the books Remus read so he could appreciate his passionate rambles as much as possible.
