Summary
This is a second companion piece to reborn but its not necessary to read that first.
A story about Astarion and Sebastian from Astarion's POV where they go through the events of BG3 and learn to trust again.
This isn't spicy but there is some language in here so I went with an M rating :)

Summary
NOW WITH COMISSIONED ARTWORK!
TLDR Clive Rosfield (Final Fantasy 16) post game (instead of dying on the beach) wakes up in Faerûn as a Paladin (Baldur's Gate 3). A slow burn romance after trauma and loss (enemies to lovers fic if you squint). Karlach/Dammon and Sebastian/Astarion have companion pieces in this collection that correlate with this.
When Clive Rosfield sacrifices his life to free his homeland from a corrupt magical order, he expects death, not rebirth in a world that is not his own. Awakening in Faerûn with a mind flayer parasite in his skull, Clive is forced into uneasy alliance with a band of strangers fighting to stop an Elder Brain from enslaving the realm.
Clive meets Shadowheart, a guarded cleric devoted to a dark goddess who demands obedience and sacrifice. As she struggles to reclaim her past and defy the faith that shaped her, Clive finds himself drawn to her. As gods manipulate mortals and power threatens to consume them, Clive and Shadowheart must learn that true freedom is not merely breaking chains but choosing each other in a world that would use them as weapons.
Reborn is a crossover romantic fantasy about redemption, resilience, and daring to hope again.

Summary
You survived. Somehow. Everyone else is gone—swallowed up in the final battle against Sephiroth—and the only one left standing beside you is Cloud. Not because you chose each other, not because you want to. But because grief is cruel, and fate is crueler. Stuck together, bound not by affection but by loss. You fight, you hate, you tear each other open because it’s easier than facing what’s missing. And yet, somewhere in the ashes of what you both destroyed, something else begins to take shape.
“Do you want to know what I did? I chose you. I’d make the same decision in every universe. If you end up walking away from me for it, fine. I won’t apologize for the choice I made. Because there is no universe where we don’t exist together. Not for me.”

Summary
A very small alternative universe where Shinra is dependent on a counterweight: the media. The President knows that, despite his military strength, public opinion could bring him down at any moment. Therefore, maintaining a positive image is crucial, and above all, not losing ground in the polls.
In this world, Shinra faces a formidable adversary: Cosmo Canyon. The discourse surrounding Planetology is beginning to spread among the population, and Shinra will have to repair its image.
You are a Planetologist, and Bugenhagen has sent you to Midgar for two reasons: to be his spokesperson to Shinra, and to ease tensions caused by an emerging group, Avalanche.Bookmarked by amd60986

Solas's gaze lingered, softening. “I left because it was not right for me to stay. I wanted you to have the chance at a normal, happy life.”"Happy? Normal?” She laughed, but it quickly turned to something broken. “You never were very good at predicting the consequences of your actions.”
Solas studied her. He stood there with his arms behind his back. He was silent for a moment before replying with a small sigh. “No. I suppose that's true.”
“The last time I was happy was in Crestwood before you decided to no longer distract me from my duties.” She said sadly. “Look at me. All I have is duty. And you, Solas. Have you been happy?”
His mouth quirked sideways as if unprepared for this question. “What I want . . . my desires are of little consequence. I've never expected to be happy.”
“Then why would you expect it of me?”

Summary
The second chime echoed through his room. With quiet anticipation, Verso crossed the chamber. It was the signal that summoned him to the stage at last. A thrilling tingling spread through his fingertips—excitement and anticipation intertwined.
„…we all need masks.”
A faint smile ghosted across his hidden lips.
„And Visage is mine.”
