Summary
A new, young girl by the name of Ana moves into town, only a couple fields over from the Hewitt property. When she stumbles across the youngest Hewitt one hot summer day, a friendship blooms. It grows over the next few years into a beautiful friendship that has the two children becoming inseparable and getting constant teasing from their families about being a couple. Both of them deny it, but could there be love growing between the two of them?
Yet when tragedy strikes, Ana is ripped away from Thomas, moving to a whole other country while begging to stay in Texas. Years pass by with no word, not a letter, call, nothing. Cousins move into the Hewitt property with the last name Sawyer, and one by the name of Bubba bonds closely with his older cousin. Thomas feels a little bit of grief lift from his heart but his soul is still heavy.
So what happens when someone buys the old Bane property? A new girl? Could it be..?

For years now she had been on the run from the government and secret agencies looking to decipher her.. talent. Off of sight and hearing alone she could use her perceptive wit and shift, shift to what? Well any sentient being, with very few limitations. With monsters it was even better. It made running so much easier, and helped her slip into the shadows. She had run from country to country, searching for a place to rest her weary body, when she stumbled across Ebott City and right into the arms of a family of skeletons.
How will this turn out for her?
