Summary
L has just signed over his life for the next five years for a chance at Yharnam's infamous blood ministration in desperation to cure his disease. He'll spend every full moon fighting through the streets to control the mysterious beastly scourge that is ravaging Yharnam.
Light has climbed to one of the highest echelons of the Healing Church, the Choir, after being orphaned in his youth. But L notices he's hiding something much darker than his desire to get rid of the Vicar.
L knows Yharnam can't hold out much longer at the rate the scourge is spreading, and Light won't tell him what is really causing the Plague.
When he’s looking up at his drippy ceiling at night, chasing sleep, he thinks about how Yharnam’s days are numbered, and so are the Hunter’s Dream. Would there be a Dream without Yharnam? Would he fall to the hands of a beast expecting to wake up, but all his body does is drop to the ground like any other? And other nights, the nights leading up to the full moon, when he shivers in his bed and clutches his arms, and he yearns for the blood he can’t afford until the moon starts receding, does he remember that the Healing Church now owns his body and soul? He can never truly leave.

Chuuya shook his head, pressing his cheek into Dazai’s hair. “No,” he said. “I was. I’m not now.”
Dazai nodded, eyes drifting shut. They stood there for a while longer, neither in a hurry to move. Chuuya’s hand traced slow, absentminded paths along Dazai’s back—grounding, familiar. Every so often, he pressed a kiss into his hair or the curve of his neck, like he was checking that Dazai was still there.
He was.
or: Dazai dissociates in the shower after a bad fight. Chuuya follows him in, apologizes, fucks him gently and not-so-gently, and then takes care of him until the night goes quiet again. Sex happens, but mostly this is about staying.

Dazai’s lips twitch. “Doesn’t Chuuya have anything for me to bite on?”
Chuuya pauses despite himself. “…I thought that,” he starts, then stops. He clears his throat, eyes flicking briefly to the floor before coming back to Dazai’s face. “Because of Dostoyevsky. I thought maybe—”
Dazai waves one hand dismissively, the motion weak but sharp with irritation. “Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because that holier-than-thou demon’s been leaving me gagged for days, you think I wouldn’t want anything in my mouth.”
He grins when he says it. It’s a perfect imitation—angle of the mouth, familiar lilt—but his eyes are flat, glassy in a way that has nothing to do with humor. “I don’t,” he adds. Then, after a beat: “I also don’t want Chuuya to hear me scream.”
or: dazai gets kidnapped and tortured. chuuya gets him back, and realizes that care is just another kind of exposure. the kiss might be a mistake. or it might not. it’s also inevitable.

He immediatly wants nothing more than to devour the young man, so he makes his move. He gets Ranpo in the mood to fuck him, but once they actually get going, Dazai realizes he may have bitten off more than he could chew.

The Prince, despite his best efforts, could not stop his hand from shaking as he held his sword to Merlin’s- no, not Merlin’s- pulse. The boy tried to crawl backwards a bit, away from the sharp edge, but Arthur just moved forward with him. The sword trembled with adrenaline against the sorcerer’s pale skin. Arthur couldn’t help but notice the boy’s ruddy cheeks, bright red from the cold and exertion. The snow made light dance in his tear tracks. The neckerchief that Merlin commonly wore was discarded on the snow; It must have fallen during the fight. It left his smooth neck exposed to the cold, riddled with goosebumps, and unmarred save for the blood-soaked steel, pressing in on his pulse point. Arthur could not deny that the… thing wearing Merlin’s face was beautiful.
Merlin is forced to reveal his powers during an attack. Chaos and angst ensue. I feel like most people give Arthur too much credit in magic reveals.
