An attempt to gather up all the loose ends from season five that works...medium well.

Summary
Peter Hale is not afraid of dying.
Not anymore, at least. Once, Death was something he feared. An ending chapter to the strange book of life. A grand, somber pause. But between the resurrections and the awful concept of living his lonely, miserable life for an unspecified amount of time, death lost its sparkle.
Dying did, however, chase him far away from Beacon Hills. Far from charred wood and smashed picture frames and all those lonely, lonely memories. Far from Derek and Scott’s watchful eye, and far from the dark cloud of fatality that Peter had found himself trapped under. Dying chased him to the rain-soaked coast of Humboldt County, where the mountains met the seas and all things are neatly hidden behind the emerald curtain of the old-growth redwoods.
