Summary
Chrom went into the wilds to find his bond beast and fight the monsters menacing his kingdom; he didn’t expect to stumble across an amnesiac instead. But while the newcomer Robin is a cautious and wary person (with a bond beast to match) she’s also a welcome recruit to the Shepherds. While the rag-tag defenders are proud of their bonds, their numbers are growing thin, and an ancient evil is stirring on the borders of Ylisse. Chrom faces problems of his own, as he struggles to accept the strange magic that comes with his bond and not live up to the legacy of his father. Meanwhile Robin must face the phantoms from her own past, learn to understand her own bond and magic, and her growing relationship with Chrom. Summary
