As Sophia leaned in, Megan’s heightened senses were flooded by Sophia’s scent, a blend of sandalwood and something sweet, like rain on jasmine. It was grounding, yet intoxicating, making Megan’s pulse skip for reasons that had absolutely nothing to do with the moon. (A solid 100/10 experience, highly recommended.)
"You’re burning up," Sophia whispered, her hand lingering against Megan's skin a second too long before she stepped back. "Do you need a heat pack? I can tell the choreographer that—"
"No, really, I’m good," Megan snapped back, then immediately softened her tone. "Just a bit of a cramp. I can push through. Thanks, Soph."
Just a bit of a cramp, she thought, strangely satisfied. Only the kind where your ribs just finished sliding and clicking into place like a Tetris game. Totally normal girl problems.
