Summary
It is tradition amongst those in the Fire Nation that are descended from the bloodline of the Royal Family that parents personally impart the knowledge and traditions of the family. Despite having used the written word for centuries, and most of these tales and traditions having been long since committed to paper, each child of the royal bloodline is carefully instructed in the oral traditions of their house, such that they can recite it to their own children, by the time they turn twelve years of age.
The first story, and that which is repeated the most throughout the traditional chronicle of stories, is that of how the Fire Lords came to be.~An oral history of how the Fire Nation and Fire Lords came to be, inspired by Japanese folklore and legends, as told by Fire Nation families of all backgrounds~

Summary
Hair in the Fire Nation is a private thing. Hair is not touched by anyone outside of family. And certainly never in public. This clashes with the Water Tribe views of hair.
Or: 5 times Sokka touched Zuko’s hair without realizing what it meant and 1 time he knew.

Summary
“But I’ve come to an even more important decision. I’m going to join the Avatar and I’m going to help him defeat you.”
“Don’t make me laugh! What use would you be to the Avatar? You’re a foolish, weak omega. You always have been and you always will be.”
The conversation Zuko had with his father rings in his head as he paces back and forth in front of his tent. He knows he was right in what he said, and he’s glad he said it, but the need for his father’s approval is something he thinks will never go away.
“Stupid, useless, weak, omega.”
These are all words Zuko has heard from his father and sister growing up, and words he definitely doesn’t want to hear from his soon to be allies. Hopefully. If only he could figure out how to properly introduce himself.
Or, omega Zuko trying to earn the gaang's trust after the events of the eclipse.
