The Church of Shinra has concealed the truth: that they have retrieved the Eldest Vampire, the Calamity, and created a monster with her blood. Former knight of SOLDIER Cloud Strife and his crew of fellow vampire hunters pursue Sephiroth to the north, where he intends to help his mother drink of the Planet's blood. But he comes at night to Cloud, beautiful, terrible. Can Cloud resist his vampiric compulsion? Or, is there something he's not telling anyone, even himself?
