Summary
There were three things college hockey players Derek Hale and Stiles Stilinski knew for certain. 1) Their lives revolved around hockey, 2) They were madly in love, and 3) Derek was so far in the closet he might never find his way out.
They'd been together for two years now, and for two years they'd been a secret with only a few people knowing about them. Yet Derek's fear kept them from moving forward: fear of his family's rejection, fear of his sexuality tanking his father's career, fear of the rampant homophobia in professional sports. The ruse was growing thin.
Something had to give.
Or: The story of how one epic NCAA Championship run and college, served as the backdrop for some of life's great hardships.

Trevelyan collapses to his knees as he falls through the portal, unable to even lift his head to see if Dorian is with him or if they’ve come through at the right place and time. There are voices around them, voices yelling but he’s grown used to drowning those out. Letting whatever curses and atrocities they want to throw at him simply wash over him.
His hand is screaming in pain, he can feel every single thread of magic in the room like they’re wound tightly around his flesh and tightening like wire.

There was no Alliance manual for trying to drag two trillion people fighting and screaming through absolute certain death, and there was nothing about what to do when you unexpectedly got spat out on the other side, either. And there was *definitely* nothing about what to do if your hot, older-than-you, currently missing-in-action boyfriend knocked you up at some stage in that sequence of events.

The galaxy tries to find the way forward, in the wake of the destruction of the reapers.
Post-ME3, destroy ending, but completely ignores the whole ‘destroy all synthetics’ thing. Basically, the reapers are destroyed and everyone else lives. Also assumes that Kaidan and Male Shepard had a romantic relationship in ME1.“You drank ryncol?” Kaidan hissed at him, clearly not prepared to let that one go.
