Summary
When Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jeongguk were little boys, they didn't care that one day they would inherit the country’s third most economically influential company. Everything was warm sunshine and cherry blossoms, scraped knees and bee stings.
When they were teenagers, two things happened: they fell in love, and then tragedy struck, driving a wedge between them.
Now in their mid twenties, they live two very different lives. They live in two different countries. And they haven't seen each other in years.
When tragedy strikes again, the chaebol company they never wanted is suddenly dumped into their hands. Having just lost both of his parents, Jeongguk feels sentimental and thinks maybe he shouldn't throw away the company his father and grandfathers dedicated their lives to.
Taehyung makes it clear he wants nothing to do with it. But when Jeongguk considers taking over the company alone, the board of directors produce an old legal document stating no heir of the company can be younger than 25.
To avoid losing his stake in his family's company forever, Jeongguk has to either marry the senior board member who's been after his fortune since before he was born, or... marry the other heir, Kim Taehyung.

He raised a hand, cupping it close to Taehyung’s face. In turn Taehyung nodded yes, as if he had any idea what Jeongguk was going to do to him. But he stood there, frozen, letting things happen; they were adults, after all, and there was no need to demure at a touch that wouldn’t probably amount to anything serious. So he stood there and closed his eyes, waited for Jeongguk to graze his cheek. He imagined the faces of all his old lovers, only to find darkness behind his eyelids. A blank space where anything could happen.
In which the city of Seoul mass-remembers their past lives, and Taehyung ponders if he's actually ever been in love in any of them. -

Summary
The Doorman is favored and recommended by many. Located within walking distance from both the university and the corporate district, it’s the public house where happy hour is always busy.
The bartender is young and handsome, friendly though quiet, and mixes a wild Old Fashioned. He often leans on the counter, chatting with a customer, with a full sleeve of ink on display. It’s for his sake that Taehyung has been frequenting the bar, every Friday, for almost two years.
Not knowing that the bartender is the doorman — to a much darker world.
