Summary
Sand and a weird smelling smoke filled the area where Kurosaki fell. Bastastard. It’s what he got for being a fucking idiot.
The wind carried most of the smoke and sand away, yet Kurosaki hadn’t said a word. That was Grimmjow’s first cue that indicated something wasn’t right. And Grimmjow doesn’t need more than a single cue.
“Oi, Kurosaki.”
Making his approach now that most of the smoke was gone, Grimmjow scanned his surroundings–
– Only to find a small lump with orange hair and big brown eyes boggling out of its skull, looking at Grimmjow with what could only be fear. Thing couldn’t be older than 9 years old. Bundled up in his oversized shinigami robes, cluctching them with pure terror, there he was: Kurosaki Ichigo.
Who began to bawl his eyes out.

Recently promoted Rear Admiral Monkey D. Luffy is chosen to lead an expedition into the New World. When Sanji is offered the opportunity to join, he inadvertently reconnects with his former crewmates after a decade of estrangement. Together they form a tentative alliance in order to postpone the extinction of their barren world.
Things unravel soon after, but not for the reasons he expects. A specter is stalking them, time is moving in circles, and Sanji unwittingly descends into a nightmare that will blur the boundaries of his very identity.
Sometimes the past is as vague as the future. Sometimes a memory can belong to someone else. Sanji is about to learn the hard way that he’s been here before.
