Hermione might be a bit too drunk to be making such an advance...
but here she is, standing in front of possibly the hottest person at the Celebratory Annual Remembrance of Fallen Members at Hogwarts Party’ or ‘CARFMHP' for short, and feeling all the courage of the burning drink sitting in her hands.
"I'm going to kiss you now," she had said to Theo, whom most certainly did not expect her to kiss him.
And to prove him wrong, and because she bloody wanted to, she did.
And it was glorious.
Maybe it was a good idea not to go for champagne. Fire-whiskey kisses were the best kind.

“He didn’t want any part of the war, he didn’t want the Dark Mark,” Draco hissed, and suddenly Hermione saw his father. His eyes had darkened and brow furrowed with haughty contempt, sporting a glare on rivalled by Lucius Malfoy. “All Theodore wanted was to live. He wanted to go to a muggle picture show, get all ‘Outstandings’ on his NEWTs. He dreamed of moving to Berlin and visiting all the muggle museums, he wanted to get an apprenticeship at Hogwarts and teach Ancient Runes. He wanted so much, and it was taken away from him.”
Hermione was going to be sick.
“This means everything to me,” she turned to face him, blinking dazedly at his watery stare, “So I need you to tell me right now, Gryffindor saviour complex aside, are you going to help me or not?”
“Yes,” Hermione breathed, her chest feeling as though it were caving in, “I’ll help you.”
