Summary
One different choice, just one, puts Harry Potter on an entirely new path in life. A path where he gets the help he needs and deserves with adults that actually do their jobs and with a Magical Guardian that is willing and able to truly keep him safe in all his years at Hogwarts and beyond.
Meet a Harry Potter that might be many shades darker than in the canon books, but who also is so much happier and safer. There will be dark times, distress and angst, but in the end, happiness will prevail. This is a feel good, or at least feel content, story and the reader should never doubt that Harry and his friends will come out on top, no matter what difficulties they might face. After all, they have a lot of competent and highly protective adults on their side.
This is a Work in Progress, and the author makes no guarantees for when, or even if, it will ever be finished. Read at your own risk.

He's back. Voldemorts back. That was the only thing Harry could focus on, the scaring down his arm made him even more aware of that fact. That Cedric was dead only added to his hazy mindset which certainly wasn't helped by the annual trip back to the Dursleys. Harry believed his life could only get worse from here which he was right about - as well as also being incredibly wrong
