“Yeah, you look like a ghost,” Nolan agreed. “You feeling okay?”
“Thanks, both of you,” Lucy scoffed. “And I’m fine. But Bradford seems to think that he’s going to be taking me into the ER today.”
“Maybe he should–”
“No way!” Lucy said. “I am going to prove him wrong and–” a sneeze ripped from her throat painfully, “--and I’m going to finish this shift just fine.”
