And for that, let’s say Childe absolutely knew Zhongli was Rex Lapis and just… let the consultant play him like a fiddle for research purposes.

    Because that surely makes more sense than Childe standing in front of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, ready to invite him out as per routine.

    Or four times Childe buys something for Zhongli without being honest with his feelings, and that one time he doesn't.
