Sometime after the first hour that his body refused to allow him to sleep, he decided that it wasn't worth it to stay in bed with Theo—mainly for fear that he would wake him up. Instead, he thought that his time would be much better spent sitting outside, hanging his legs over the edge of the pool with a cigarette between his lips."

Summary
