Sweat dripping off every last piece of him, a bone-deep satisfaction courses through him the very same way blood does. It feels so natural, as if his whole life was a jigsaw left uncomplete until he finally got a quirk. As if a part of him was taken the day he was diagnosed and the last piece of him is finally together. Whole. In its rightful home sits a legacy— 200 years of raw power and energy seems almost content to reside within such a scrawny, fidgety middle-schooler.

Summary
the brutality of a fight drawn out for multiple lifetimes can't be oversold. there is bloodshed and violence beyond that of a usual warzone. there are warriors left dying, losing. yet all those that have been lost to this endless war have passed on that sacred torch- a curse to keep fighting. the inherent violence of one for all and all for one is all-consuming. strong people holding on hope while watching a battle through the eyes of their last hope. the youngest to meet with that man.
the youngest and the bravest, by far. no hesitation to fulfil a destiny unfairly thrust upon him, with success overwhelming and brilliant.
but the dust is settling, and ninth is happy. so very happy.
