Summary
Klavier is gone when Apollo gets back to their room, presumably getting ready for bed himself. Apollo leaves the light on for him and climbs into the lower bunk, facing the wall, tucking himself in with one of the threadbare, train-issued blankets. Except it’s not a threadbare, train-issued blanket.
Because it’s Klavier’s, and it smells like him, and it’s all warm and cozy, and Apollo is absolutely doing this to himself. But, well. Klavier had to put down this blanket for a reason. Knowing what they were going to do. So it’s fine. Really. It is.
Klavier shuts the door softly when he gets back into the room. A second later, he’s flicked off the lights. He bumps into maybe everything on his way to the bed. Apollo would laugh if his heart wasn’t pounding so furiously.
Klavier’s weight settles on the side of the bed. “Is this still okay?”
Apollo shifts himself closer to the cabin wall. Klavier climbs into bed beside him, back settling up against Apollo’s.
He’s warm. Apollo knew he would be.
Or: a 52-hour journey on a sleeper train, a small, shared room, and the ever-closing distance between them.

Summary
"What is justice?" I ask myself.
Edgeworth struggles with his own identity, and can't help but question his own existence. It slowly eats him alive from the inside out, gutting him unknowingly where it's to the point it even rapidly affects him during trial. Phoenix notices this, and decides that he must take action. He can't just let Edgeworth eat himself alive like this. He can't bear to be the witness in this trial.
“Talk to me, please…please.” He pleads. "I can't bear to sit and watch you...kill your spirit away like this."

Summary
Phoenix Wright has just been dealt a huge blow to his pride and his mental health. In a desperate attempt to ignore his rapidly onsetting depression, he turns his attention to adopting Trucy, a girl whose parents have disappeared and has been left with no one to take care of her. Miles Edgeworth, who is in ongoing therapy, is recognizing some troubling signs in his 'old friend' and feels he has to step in to help. A proud Phoenix tries to resist, but the load of April's case combined with taking care of a sudden new dependent is getting harder and harder to bear on his shoulders alone. Adding to the list of stressors is Kristoph, a man Phoenix knows is dangerous, but can't ignore. He's convinced Kristoph is suspicious and he won't rest until he knows what's really going on, even if it tears him apart.
