Summary

With Keith away, Veronica stays at the Neptune Grand, but tensions with Duncan spill over, and Logan’s unexpected support takes her by surprise.
This fic is complete and will be posted regularly.
It is quite dark in places, and contains multiple scenes of violence. I also wanted to explore some of the issues left after season one with Duncan, without vilifying him or making the fic actually about him.

Penelope lost Eloise in an attempt to save her from the queen. Although she knows that was not the reason Eloise is mad at her.
Penelope learnt how Colin truly felt about her, the same night he vowed to protect her. His true colors made her feel small and unworthy, breaking her.
Penelope could no longer take the hits and is hasty to run from them, leaving her in a dangerous situation.
Set right after the ball in 2x08.
