Summary
"Alastor. We need to talk." Alastor stopped in his tracks. Ah. Look who decided to gather their bearings and ask. Although the line of questioning that was sure to lead to a less than necessary conversation about his captivity and the favour she was forced to grant. This was rather unfortunate for Alastor. Though, with this came a twinge of pride that at least she wasn't a coward (like her father was).
"Of course. What's on your mind, Charlie dear?" Alastor humoured her. It was necessary for him to get into the good graces of the royal family of Hell, of course.
Charlie's expression turned surprised and she stood a little straighter, yet when he thought she was about to speak, no words were to be heard. She clearly expected that he would shut the door in her face and hadn't thought this much ahead. Quite insulting, if you were to ask Alastor. "Now, now, I won't bite," Alastor laughed with just enough warmth to lull Charlie into a false sense of security.

Summary
The gray streets of London were bathed in March showers. Not a sound dared oppose the heavy pitter–patter of the rain. Thick fog had rolled in, and it was hard to see more than a few metres ahead.
Which is why, dear reader, our favourite detective–doctor duo is currently holed up at 221B Baker Street, sharing the sofa in their living room.
