Nine things about being brought back from the dead:
1) You will be cold
2) You will wake up screaming, they all do.
3) Your entire body will throb, the pain will eventually subside; being brought back is never a painless task
4) Do not get up immediately, you will be nauseous and your body will need time to readjust to this realm.
5) Ask for more blankets, you will feel very cold.
6) You will not remember how you died, do not ask
7) Do not ask the practitioner how they performed the ritual, this is considered bad luck and you will not last long
8) Your loved ones will be ecstatic to have you back, consider this a blessing.
9) Thank the practitioner and let them be on their way, if they do not look you in the eye consider this a bad omen...

Summary
When humanity discovered the limitations of inorganic technologies, the human genome was improved, giving the specimen access to the full range of abilities of the human mind, including telekinesis and telepathy. To ensure that these Genetically Improved Humans (or just “Improveds”) weren’t able to go rogue, they were each made with a biological compulsion for the touch and approval of a human link.
The forging occurs when the Improveds are sixteen, and usually with a link that has been raised alongside the Improved in the academy on New Earth where all improveds are made.
Occasionally a forging goes wrong. That seemed to be the case for TMR, a sixteen-year-old Improved of terrifying talent whose link hung herself two days after they were forged.

Summary

He goes back to the Gryffindor dorms with a vial — one of his own, he wouldn’t dare to touch Snape’s vials, wouldn’t dare to steal from him — full of a transparent liquid, much like water. This would do the trick, this would end the pain he’s feeling.
He’s going to drink it before going to sleep. But… something. He doesn’t, halts just as the vial is inches away from his mouth.
He rips a piece of paper from one of his notebooks, writing down:
-Your name is Harry Potter.
-You were born on July 31st, 1980.
-Your parents, Lily and James Potter, died when you were a baby, so you won’t meet them.
-You’re a wizard.
There are many other things he doesn’t want to burn inside his head when he drinks the potion, but he doesn’t write them. These are enough.
He drinks the potion.
