Later, as the sun slowly makes its way down toward the horizon, Jimin finds himself standing back in front of his warrior statue, flower crown in hand.
“I brought you something,” he says, carefully setting the crown on top of the statue’s head. He adjusts it, takes a step back, frowns, adjusts it again. When it’s finally on just right, he smiles and traces a finger down the side of the statue’s face.

It really is. Nothing close to Taehyung’s best work, but Jimin looks at it like it is the best thing he’s ever done. He looks at every piece of Taehyung’s like that.
“Could be in a museum,” Jimin argues as he holds the sketchbook out, eyes still latched onto it.
Taehyung hides his smile behind his mug, taking in Jimin’s glow. Warmer than the morning sun.
He thinks Jimin is the one that could be in a museum.
