Katniss is workung delivering books to impoverished people in the hill of dandelion. They used to be ruch her father has amine shares but when he died her mother had to sell it. She spebds a lot and they are short of money. Prim is a nurse and lives with her husband a doctor on another state. On a book deluvery she saw delly who asked her for help with peeta. He had been shot in the leg and delly asked her to hold him fown while she get the bullet. She refused and peeta tild her to call the dictor unstead. She found out his bro was the moonshiner and was in jail. Katniss called on dr snow who healed peeta but wanted him to stay in their house so he does not have to trek up the hill to see him. Her mom is angry coz it's unseemly. But kat gound out her mom haf borrowed money for prim's school and wedding. Snow paid for her university in exchange that she has to wirk for him at a reduced salary but prim ended up marryung and staying away. Kat is so angry bit they did not have a choice. Oeeta is and ideal guest but her mom do not like him coz he is poor. She grew close to peeta as he helped her with illustrations for her biok. He even baked her cookies. He was a baker, actially he knows alot of trade. Kat went to the city to vist gale who works for the mayor. She saw him flirtung with madge but she is not jealous just a bit annoyed. She saw peeta there painting a mural and she flirted with him. She k kws that she cannot marry gale as there was no spark there. When she got home she wrote a letter breaking the engagement and she received a letter telling her the same and to keep the ring lol. Her mom died of a stroke and she found out that she signed her house ober to snow. She do not have jewelry too. Katniss write to her uncle who offered her a job in oregon and she will go coz she donot want to stay in the house that is slowly being torn to pieces and turn to something new. This bitch got robbed 😭😭😭
She met peeta who offered her to sleep tigether, they pretended to be married as they travel, they hitched rides on the train girl idk how tgis lady managed to jump on a moving train. They are really broke they got caught and they had to pay the men who caught them. They hitched a ride with a family. When she got to her uncle he is drunk a writer. The lovestory that was very popular with women on her delivery trail was his. But he is stealing all these torues with the help of his former secretary effie. They make good ending of other people's storues until he wrote effie'$ story she quit and wanted to sue him. Kat worked as his typist while peeta is doing manual labor coz the place he was supposed to paint is not yet built wtf hahahah -
