It’s just past eleven in the morning when the doorbell rings.
Sanji sets aside the laundry she’s folding and pushes up from the couch to head to the front door. She pauses to check her reflection in the mirror in the entryway, and once satisfied that her hair is in place and her makeup still looks good, she opens the door and offers a smile to the man standing on the porch.
He’s a handsome thing, tall and broad-shouldered with a strong jaw and a scar bisecting one of his dark eyes from eyebrow to cheek. Her eyes linger on the way his biceps bulge in the tight shirt he’s wearing, stretching obscenely across his massive chest. His nipples can be seen through the material.
