Summary
Zelda and Link are finally back home in Hateno but... the time apart has left traces on them both. It's nearly impossible for Link to push aside what so often happened around midnight while she was gone and her tender voice failed to warn him about the blood moon.
Written for my follower milestone prompt 'just after midnight' and a Tumblr request 'Is it really you?'/or: I just wanted some good old cathartic smut for these two. 😆

“I don’t mean that I didn’t care for anyone else,” he rushed to explain himself, using more words in one go than she’d heard since before the Calamity appeared.
“But what mattered most, is you.”
How was she supposed to answer him without caving in? He was so painfully genuine it made her knees weak. And knowing how oblivious he was, he surely hadn’t thought of the implications of such a statement. Still, she covered her cheeks instinctively, willing her blush to be less noticeable. Her knight swallowed, the knot of his throat bobbing. Her eyes flickered across him and perhaps he was right that she shouldn’t have told him to sit on her bed. He was docile, still tense, the veins in his hands flexing. His tunic was loose on him, deceptively covering corded muscle and his trousers- his trousers were taut around a protruding tent. Oh.
OR. Zelda makes a discovery, and Link is happy to indulge in all of her desires. Gentle femdom. Post-BOTW, Pre-TTOK
