Summary
I both hated and looked forward to these reunions. These homecomings. Made me feel all achy inside, watching my people greeted and fawned over, hugged and fussed at. It reminded me every damn time that there was no one there to greet good old Duo Maxwell that way.

"I'm done, Fei," Duo whispered, sitting forward again, but it seemed more that he was just curling in on himself as anything. "No more. Because it can't be done. God; who in the hell could ever hold a candle to him? I have to stop looking..."
I have to admit that his words shocked the hell out of me. He'd not spoken so bluntly about his unrequited feelings in ages, and the last time, he'd been drunk enough that he'd also told me about the L2 plagues.

Summary
“I’m at Jungle.” Another gasping pause. “Or, well, I’m hiding outside Jungle. In the alley. It’s raining really hard so no one else is out here.”
Peter is already up, pulling his jacket on and plucking a set of keys off the hook. He tosses Chris his own jacket.
“Why are you hiding in the alley? It’s too cold to be out in the rain.”
“I got drugged,” Stiles says. And Chris can’t help but feel he maybe should have led with that. “It’s gonna kick in for real any minute now, and I didn’t want to be inside where it’s crowded.”
“He what,” Peter snarls.
“Peter and I are on our way,” Chris promises. “I’m gonna stay on the phone with you the whole time. Okay?”
Stiles takes dating advice from Peter and Chris, but winds up in a dangerous situation. In the aftermath, crippling fear and doubt begin to take hold.
