She looked down to find someone wrapped tightly around her legs. It takes her a minute, but her brain finally catches up and takes in the ridiculous sailor outfit and the full head of hair.

“Sorry. Bad habit,” Robin forces out. Her voice sounds rough, breathy, nothing like herself.
Nancy smiles, kind. Even this close to Robin, Nancy looks at her like there’s nothing wrong with her, with the way she is. All of Robin’s incompetence and how uncontrollable she feels sometimes, Nancy sees all of it. And Nancy, perfect fucking Nancy Wheeler, doesn’t shy away. She wants more, more of Robin.
