Hyunjae's dimly lit office, where the enormous fishtank transforms the world into shifting azure light and darting sapphire shadows. Where Sung Hyunjae stands waiting in the dark, his arms crossed, his expression deceptively mild.
Where Yoojin is forced to sit in solitary splendor on the cold tile floor, naked, surrounded by coil upon coil of chain - a glinting, glittering ouroboros that cradles him in its embrace.
He glares up at Hyunjae.
Yoojin demands, "You know what an idiom is, don't you? You understand that these things aren't supposed to be taken literally?"
"Is my dear partner going back on his word?" The deep voice's tones are silky.

Faking your death is remarkably easy, once you've truly put your mind to it, Han Yoojin discovers.
"Why can't you just live quietly hyung? Why do you always have to cause trouble?" Yoohyun asks him, exasperated, every time he has to drag Yoojin from a bar, or a dungeon, or whatever other trouble he's landed himself in.
So even Yoohyun he wants him gone then hm? Well alright, he thinks, resigned.
He can do that much.
