Summary
Katsuki Bakugou gets funny when Shouto Todoroki is around him.
They’ve been playing together for two years, ever since Dabi and his brother reunited, since they discovered that Shouto Todoroki could play the keyboard, and the piano. Like, strikingly well. Their band, U.A., is punk rock, but Katsuki and Eijirou have been writing slower songs so Shouto Todoroki is perfect.
Two years is more than enough time for Shouto to blend into the band… and blur lines that were never clearly defined to begin with. Katsuki insists it’s nothing, even as his longtime boyfriend, Izuku, starts to notice how close they are.
“We’re just friends, Deku,” Katsuki murmurs over the phone, “Just like everyone else.”
Izuku scoffs, “We both know that the others don't look at you like that.”
And he's right. Whatever this is between Katsuki and Shouto, it’s becoming impossible to ignore, and impossible to keep as is.
So Katsuki just can't have Shouto around him anymore...

Katsuki turns toward him, only notes his name because it’s written in Sharpie on the guy’s cup. What a nerd. A cute one though, Katsuki thinks.
“Mommy taught you to write your name on what’s yours?” he teases, “Now you're something I'd like to put my name on.”
Shouto looks up, startled. His pretty dual-colored eyes widen and Katsuki steps closer.
“There was a Sharpie,” Shouto says but it sounds more like a question.
Katsuki laughs, “I’m sure, pretty boy.” Shouto’s cheeks flush slightly and Katsuki grins, “You new here, never seen ya before.”
Shouto looks defensive, “Well, you just uh don’t remember me.”
Katsuki clicks his tongue, leaning in to meet Shouto’s eyes at the shorter boy’s height, “Right, well. I think I’d remember you, princess.”
or: Katsuki Bakugou spots Shouto Todoroki at a party, flirts (rather meanly), and the rest is history.
