Barty isn't doing much better, but he has Evan. He'll always have Evan. Evan is friends with both Barty and Regulus and Barty knows he'll never outright pick sides, but he can rely on Evan to take care of him whenever he and Regulus break up.

It’s the summer of adventure. Evan, Barty, Regulus, Pandora, and Dorcas are spending the summer with Regulus’s estranged brother and his friends in an attempt to repair the rift their parents left.
Evan Rosier is trying to hide how crazy in love he is with his best friend, because hooking up with Barty is a recipe for disaster, even if he looks really good in swim trunks (and even if he wants to know what’s underneath them).
Pandora Rosier is trying to have a normal summer, but an annoyingly mysterious weed dealer keeps popping up, and she doesn’t quite hate them as much as she thought she would.
Barty Crouch Jr. is confused. His best friend has been looking a little too good, with his tan and wet hair, and it’s been doing things to him that he doesn’t really mind.
