Summary
Celis is the unwanted Princess of House Faen Tlabbar. Orphaned after her parents outright rebellion against the church, she has grown up in the shadow of their sin. Prince Gale Dekarios has been away studying with his Master, Arch Mage Elminster, since spring. He is called home by his mother, out of fear of retaliation for the newly minted trade agreement between Waterdeep and Menzoberranzan. He returns home to spend the colder months with his mother, and along the way joins the caravan carrying the Princess coming to live with them. Shrouded in secrets, and a literal veil, he wants to get closer to this new housemate.

Bellara’s voice is muffled by her hands — both held up in front of her face to block the sight of the memory shimmering in front of them. Rook frowns — hands on his hips as he squints at the scene playing out.
“Most likely for a celebration of some kind,” Neve answers before he can. There’s an unexpected appreciation in her eyes when Rook turns to her that makes his brows raise slightly. She cocks one in return before turning to Bellara. “What, not up for a little tasteful nudity?”
“Some celebration,” Davrin says wryly.
“You consider that tasteful?” Lucanis questions at the same time.
“They’re wearing robes!” Rook points out, and the looks he gets in response are dry enough to kill a few oases.
“See-through robes,” Taash clarifies.
“They stop being see-through, like, halfway down their stomachs.” A woman walks past, and Rook winces. “Most of them.”
“Is this normal in Tevinter or something?” Bellara asks — voice tight. “No clothes at parties?”
“Yes,” Rook and Neve respond simultaneously — flat tones identical.
A fic about a rook, a wolf, and a healthy dose of hedonism.
