He heard the screams, cut off before they could even gain any true weight by detonations so loud that his ears still rung. He saw Tubbo, wide eyed and petrified as realization dawned. He knew he saw none of it, and yet it was so clear that it haunted him. A wretched dream, made worse by the guilt that plagued his every breath.
Out of all the people to survive. Out of everyone.

Wilbur blows everything to hell on the day of the Manburg festival, just like he wanted. When the ashes settle, it's just Tommy and Technoblade. It's just them, healing up in a world that never wanted them.
(And then it isn't, and the world is already upside down, so it only makes sense for gravity to give up on them entirely.)
