Summary

And Buck, he was— he is.
“Fuck, you guys are—”
Buck stops listening. It’s not the point of a threesome, he knows that, he shouldn’t be ignoring the third guy, delegating him to some kind of voyeur to the first time Tommy’s been back inside him in months, but he can’t help it. Every time he moves to get involved Buck wants to hiss at him and egg Tommy on, to spread his legs wider and moan and whine.
Buck starts his night in a bar, alone, and, somehow, ends it in bed with Tommy and the guy he was on a date with.
Surely this can only end well.

He looks up, looks up at the clouds which are barely hiding the sun. Thinks about how small everything is from up there. Small and far away and ... Out of reach. He would be out of reach.
"Can you take me up there?" He asks, swallowing. "Just ... For a while?"

Buck tells himself and everybody else he's fine. When he meets Tommy at the funeral, his walls start to crack.

Summary
When Buck falls ill at the end of a night shift, a concerned Bobby refuses to let him drive home and calls in reinforcements.
He fumbles to press the accept call button, almost drops it once before he shoves it between his shoulder and head.
"Evan?" He says immediately. Despite how being with Evan has had the side effect of igniting previous friendships, there is very little that Bobby would be calling about during a work shift, no matter how close to finishing.
"-is fine, Tommy," Bobby immediately reassures. "Well-"
"Bobby."
There's a small pause, and Tommy winces. He'll have to apologize later.
"He's not injured," Bobby rephrases. "When we woke up, I found him asleep on the couch, I think he's got a fever and a bit of a migraine-"
"And you don't want him driving." Tommy guesses. His heart rate is still a little too fast to be healthy, but it's settling now, knowing that whilst Evan isn't at his best, he isn't - at least - near death's door, or about to be.
"Honestly, Tommy; he's also asking for you."

She accepts readily, though it takes a while to sit down and do it, but once he’s sitting on that chair in front of her desk, he’s at a loss for words. So many meetings here with Bobby, he sees him sitting in Hen’s place right now, and it almost pulls him under the tide of grief that never actually seems to ebb.

Summary
Getting drunkenly married in Vegas had been just as easy as movies and TV shows led Tommy to believe. Where reality fell short was how easy it was to annul such a marriage. It was, in fact, just as difficult to annul a marriage to a near stranger as any other kind. You could get married in five minutes by a knock-off Elvis in a twenty-four hour wedding chapel, but you actually had to go to court and sit in front of a judge to dissolve it. Tommy and Evan never got around to it.
