The dream shifts around him—no sky, no horizon, just forest folding in on itself. Henrik crouches beside him, barefoot, knees muddy, eyes bright as coins. His small hands worry at a twig, snapping it in half and fitting the pieces back together like he might fix what's already broken.
"You're me," Henrik says in English—the words sound practiced, like he's tried them before and never gotten them quite right. "Or I'm you. I can't tell."
Tyler shakes his head. "That's impossible."
Henrik only shrugs. "So is coming back from the dead."
