"Eddie gathered Steve closer, so the Omega was huddled halfway into his lap, his head tucked on Eddie’s shoulder. He dipped to rub his face in the curve of Steve’s neck—yup, right on that tantalizingly unbroken mating gland—dousing him in his scent. All the while, he shushed and soothed him, till Steve’s whimpers disintegrated into soft sighs. Boy, Steve aced at presenting tough. Right now, stripped bare, Eddie saw only how goddamn fragile he truly was.
“Thank you, Alpha,” murmured Steve, startling Eddie, “D-doesn’t hurt so much. Not c-cold anymore."

Now that has captured Eddie's attention completely.
"Really?" Eddie gulps. He feels the excitement vibrating under his skin.
"Mhmm," Steve nods, moving one of his hands towards Eddie's face, tucking a stray strand of hair behind his boyfriend's ear. Eddie feels the blood rush to his cheeks, almost hears it as he holds his breath.
"What kind of reward?" Eddie chokes out.
"Something you'll really like," Steve says in a sweet voice, the tone sending a shiver down Eddie's spine.
OR: Steve offers to help Eddie study so that he can finally graduate. He decides that Eddie needs some special incentives to properly learn the material.
