Summary
The Black Mesa Research Facility is turned upside down when a Resonance Cascade devastates the underground complex, being consumed by cosmic horrors as the normalities of everyday life crumbles around those who once called it home. Work colleagues Gordon Freeman and Barney Calhoun have no choice but to gear up and face the many horrors head on, side by side. They fight for survival admist hoards of worldly and otherworldly troops, encountering hostiles and eventually confronting deep-seated feelings.

Summary
Human G-Man AU. In this story our favorite intergalactic bureaucrat is just an ordinary human being, dealing with his midlife crisis in the most dignified way he could think of: going back to college.
Although he is already a successful lawyer and has enough money to retire, he feels he needs to find his purpose in life again. Uncertain, he starts a Programming course just because it seems like a useful skill for nowdays. And then ends up finding himself in the position of intern for an eccentric recluse called Dr Gordon Freeman.
