Tony stays by Steve's frozen bedside. He thinks of the cold-blooded nurse; he thinks of the biometric locks on every door and every other reminder that Steve Rogers is coming back to a hostile world, surrounded by people who want to use him. And then he wonders if Fury left this empty chair by Rogers’ bed on purpose.
Because he knew Tony wouldn’t want to leave.
He stays until he is kicked out, and like the addict that he is, he keeps coming back.
(He'll spend the rest of his life coming back.)

Summary
Anthony cannot believe he is literally about to die for Smosh. Well, die bleeding out protecting Ian, he supposes he could have gone out in worse ways.
He's bleeding out...well internally, but regardless, he's been stabbed and he wonders if this is death.
So blue. Anthony thinks distantly as he stares up at the sky, the sun is luckily behind a tall building.
Ian's face is above his, eyes watery and his mouth is also moving, but Anthony still isn't processing anything. He does, however, note that Ian's eyes look even brighter blue when his eyes are bloodshot.
So very blue. Anthony concludes before his eyes drift back to the sky and the world starts to gray out.
