Chapter 34.
Jane has a 3 year old boy with an emotionally abusive ex. She meets Elijah when he is supposed to meet Jenna using his author cover. He realizes they're connected and does a 180 on his plans. A week or so later Klaus arrives looking for her. The Salvatores proceeded to lose their shit and end up kidnapping Elena. Jane and co bust her out, only for Damon to attack and turn Elena when Elijah leaves to pick the toddler up from school. Kol and Finn pop up in town and meet Jane at this point. Jenna finds out about the supernatural from her friend that Damon has been using as a bloodbag - the compulsion broke when he was ended for killing Elena. (he unfortunately comes back)
The teens confess what has been happening to Jenna and Jane the next morning, and Caroline takes Elena to a frat party to practice vampire stuff. Elena gets kidnapped by Maxwell, and the gang proceeds to uncover the whole Augustine thing. Damon comes back to life at this point. The originals and Bonnie bust in to the Augustine facility without updating Jane or Finn. Jane finds out about the facility from John and decides to bust in when she can't get in contact with the others. (They've been gone at least a few hours.) Jane infiltrates, finds Bonnie wounded in a closet, heals her, and meets up with John. They bust Klaus and Elijah (also Damon) out of cells. Meanwhile, Rebekah and Kol free Elena and Enzo. The facility goes into emergency lock down, with vervain spraying from the ceiling. Jane panicks and triggers the facility to blow (attempting to stop the vervain). Chapter 34 ends on facility explosion.

Summary

Now Jane is back in Mystic Falls and her carefully built walls and safeguards are crumbling down around her. Somehow, amidst the drama and the bull shit, Jane finds herself in the center of a very tangled web of romance when a Mikaelson with dark eyes and fancy suits turns his attention on her. Jane just didn't realize that getting the attention of one Mikaelson means getting the attention of all of them.
