Summary
No one said that duty aboard a Constitution-class starship would be easy. Almost four years into the Enterprise’s exploratory mission, half the fleet of heavy cruisers have been lost and the rest have seen and experienced things that can scarcely be believed. The physical and emotional scars from adventures gone both wrong and right have taken their toll on Kirk and Spock. The two men are struggling to come to terms with a new and life-changing aspect of their relationship when an incredible object is found amidst ancient ruins on a long-dead planet and the Enterprise races to solve a mystery that threatens the Federation itself.

Summary
Leon Kennedy, still recovering from his recent education in the pitfalls of dating the enemy, is spending his medical leave fulfilling a dead teammate's final request by seeking her missing brother. It's a dangerous past time for a man healing from head trauma, given he's 90% sure his own boss is responsible for the brother disappearing. He's also just as certain his boss is trying to kill him.
None of that is as upsetting as Albert Wesker attempting to apologize. Between Wesker, his strange dreams, and the murders in his apartment building, Leon is having enough headaches to last a lifetime. Maybe that's just the head trauma.
Or maybe it's something else.

"Starlight and fancy fae blood," Astarion said, circling the rim of his cup with the tip of his finger. "I feel just a bit like I'm being seduced."
"Would you be amenable to that?" Halsin asked.
Astarion paused to consider the answer to that question. Watching him take the time to do that would always be a deeply wonderful thing.
"I think I would," he said to his drink. His expression was aloof but there was a smile in his voice. "Is this a generic blessings of nature scenario, or did you have something particular in mind?"
"Far be it from me to ever refuse the simple enjoyment of what nature has given us," Halsin said, smiling. "But I did have a suggestion."
And then he paused. Coughed. Continued:
"It has been a very long time since I have had the opportunity to be prey."

Astarion is an alpha. His services were very valuable to Cazador since he could rent him out as an a chained alpha. Astarion has never been in control around an omega, he’s always been restrained physically, mentally, or both. Many nobles wanting to hide their omega status or avoid pregnancy hired him year after year.
Now that the shadow curse is lifted, Halsin has fallen unexpectedly into his first ever heat.
