When Hermione is brought to the Headmaster's office where the Malfoys and Lord Minister Gaunt are waiting, she learns of a Ministry program, the Newblood Introduction Commission, of which she will be the first Muggleborn participant. She'll be sponsored by the Malfoys to learn Pureblood etiquette, the Old Ways, and enter society...or so Dumbledore thinks. In reality, she and Draco Malfoy will enter an arranged engagement and bond when Draco turns 17.
As it turns out, the suppression of the Old Ways has weakened magic and if it continues, the British wixen community will die out. These arranged marriages and integration into Pureblood society, following the Old Ways, will help keep magic alive.
But will Hermione and Draco feel the magic in their budding relationship ?

The orphanage in Keramzin has been denied more and more funding ever since Alina Starkova took over as Directrisa. In a last ditch effort for help, she writes to the Darkling, General Kirigan, who runs the Second Army.
When Aleksander Morozov receives her letter, he’s intrigued-- intrigued enough to make a detour to Keramzin to meet her. He immediately recognizes her symptoms of wasting sickness and tests to see what kind of Grisha she is. He isn't expecting her to be the Sun Summoner, or to find himself so immediately infatuated with her.

“Serious,” the man replied. “Like the star,” he clarified, and Remus mentally scratched out 'Serious' and rewrote 'Sirius' in his head.
“The… star?” Marlene asked, her pen hovering over the cup as she hesitated.
“S-I-R-I-U-S,” Remus said. He stocked croissants into the display case, not looking up. “The Dog Star,” he added, “brightest star in the sky, actually. Visible from both hemispheres.” When he looked over, the man– Sirius– seemed surprised, his eyebrows raised as Remus spoke, and when Remus finished, he blinked a few times before smiling lopsidedly.
“Er– yeah,” he breathed a laugh. “That.” There was a baby on his hip. Somehow, it had taken Remus a second glance to notice that.

Or, Remus works as a barista and Sirius comes in every morning with the world's cutest baby, and man, these two just wrote the book on mutual pining, huh?

Now he—she—had no idea what her name even was as she realized she wasn't entirely the perfect son she had crafted her identity around.
