"Oh, but it does matter, to me" Hawks murmurs with a cryptic smile, voice as smooth as silk, golden eyes sparkling with insanity.
Dabi cocks an eyebrow, doesn’t ask further. He feels like he doesn’t want to know after all, not when Hawks is looking at him like he’s candy - like he wants to get close and touch him but also kill him at the same time. It just seems that, at least for now, the villain has more curiosity than hate in his regards. Dabi despises the implications.
If he has to play cat and mouse, he certainly wants to remain the cat.
Yet, Hawks looks nothing like a mouse.
